Ashby Parva Plant
Centre launch new courses for 2011
In 2011, Ashby
Parva Plant Centre is launching a series of courses
for the garden enthusiast, designed to help people
of all horticultural abilities to get to grips with
various aspects of planting and growing.
A 'grow your own'
area and a classroom has been created at the garden
centre, which will host numerous courses this year
with the help of local expert Ruth Tallis of Whites
Florist in Lutterworth.
Courses include
container vegetable growing, planting spring bulbs,
vegetable growing for beginners, starting a
vegetable garden, hanging baskets, and container
growing for alpines and herbs.
The schedule is as
follows:

Daytime and
evenings courses will run from 1pm - 3pm and from
6.30 - 8.30pm. Places are limited to 20 per course.
